For the last year, we quietly piloted a community card at Ridman’s Coffee – anytime someone doesn’t have the means to pay, as a staff member we can provide. No questions other than “what do you need?”  I’m here today to share that the community card is here to stay. Click the button below to support our neighbors in need.

Ridman’s also has an open door policy. You don’t need to buy anything to be in our space. Come get some coffee, a snack, some water, use the restroom, or simply sit down and warm up a while. This has been true since we opened in 2017. We love our patrons and we all know some of y'all pass two or three shops to support us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for choosing us. 

The safety and comfort of Ridman’s staff and customers will always be priorities one and two. If you have concerns about the behavior of a neighbor or patron in the shop, you are welcome to voice it respectfully to us and we will do our best to make sure every party is treated with kindness. If you suspect a neighbor is experiencing a mental health crisis, there are safety procedures in place, including Uptown’s CARE response team, which is available to us during business hours Monday through Friday.
